I grew up in a very small town in Wisconsin, then packed up and headed to Boston after high school—where I discovered my first true passion: teaching. I went on to earn my Elementary Education degree from UW–Madison and spent 12 years teaching middle school, an experience that deeply shaped how I connect with people today.

 

Throughout it all, photography was always there, quietly evolving alongside me—from building pinhole cameras, wandering the streets of Boston with a film camera in hand, to setting up my own darkroom, and eventually taking the leap to build my own photography business in 2008.

 

I am a very outgoing person. I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kiddos. They keep life moving and meaningful. I will golf every opportunity I get, cereal is my favorite food and I have two Italian Greyhounds, Walter & Dwight.
